Brass Snuffer

Brass snuffers are used to extinguish candle flames. The cone-shaped top of the snuffer keeps air away from the flame, causing it to extinguish. Snuffers are often in the form of scissors that snuff the flame and cut off the wick, or a hollow cone at the end of a long handle.
